Stupid question, but how do I send a package C.O.D.? (cash on delivery)?
What is the procedure to do this? What if the package gets to where it's going but they won't pay on the other end? I don't want to pay the shipping because it's a buoyancy compensation device for scuba that weighs 12 lbs. dry so I know sending it will be costly. It's defective, which is why it has to go back; they've already sent me a new one.

Not stupid at all.
How about calling the company and asking for their UPS or FedEx shipping account number? They should pay for the return shipping as they sold you defective merchandise. I don't even know if the USPS/UPS/FedEx even do COD anymore. Too many dishonest people out there.
OR (just thought of this!!) if you still have the packaging that they sent the replacement in, look for their shipper number on the ticket and use that!! (sneaky, yes, but...)
