Which version of x-men do u like?
X-men-the hidden years, ultimate x-men, uncanny x-men, x-men mangaverse(d one where wolvie and cyclops r brothers and wolvie has an energy claw and proffessor x is a bad guy), x-men evolution, or the x-men as portrayed by alex ross(tht guys got sum REAL talent...), as in the Marvels??
i like the ultimate x-men, the artwork's pretty cool and the story line's good too, x-men evo comes nxt coz thts where almost all the x-men have got sum serious kick-butt attitude as compared to the other versions where they r kinda goody goody...lol.....the wrst one in terms of artwork,storyline and costumes gotta be the easrlier versions where the x men were in a ski mask kinda looking mask and yellow underwearand black outfit kindsa uniforms...duh.....only wolvie stood out in all the versions i guess...hmmmmmm... wht do u thnk?
Uncanny has my vote! I still love the original version, but i think Ultimate is not bad too. Some of the newer comics are making things too complicated and it makes it difficult to follow.
Whereas for Uncanny, i find that the story is more or less consistent and you'll have an easier time trying to follow as compared to the rest (at least to me).
So if you are just starting to read or learn about X-men, you should always start from the bottom (Uncanny) and up (Ultimate, Astonishing, etc). But of course, the earlier issues of Uncanny graphics are not as great as the newer ones today.
The bottomline is that it has good storyline (cheesy at times) and portrays the characters well is good enough for me. I even still keep some of the old issues!
